Stetind: Turning off towards Kjøpsvik on the eastern side, the road follows the fjord to the foot of the national mountain — the sight of the granite spire justifies the detour on its own.

Light on deck: The fjord mouth faces northwest, and the deck is a fine place to stand on midnight-sun nights or under the aurora in the dark months.
