The Drag–Kjøpsvik ferry crosses Tysfjorden on national road 827, through some of the most dramatic fjord scenery in Nordland. On the Drag side sits Árran, the centre for Lule Sami language and culture; these fjords are the heartland of the Lule Sami area.
